This web site describes a human respiratory virus which typically causes the following symptoms: chronic upper respiratory and nasal infection, powerful neurological changes, fine-textured skin wrinkling, limb weakness and joint looseness.
Now, most of these symptoms resemble chronic fatigue syndrome, so treatment protocols for chronic fatigue syndrome may help with this virus also.
The links below detail treatments for chronic fatigue syndrome. For a comprehensive list of CFS symptoms, see here.

And Finally:
This is an appropriate opportunity to point out how easily a pathogen can spread person-to-person in a household, etc, and result in significant fatigue and other ailments across this group of people. You do not have to be a medic to see this in this case, because a tell-tale sign of this virus is the frequently-present symptom of thick chronic nasal mucus that begins a few weeks after the initial flu-like illness of first catching this virus, and which continues indefinitely thereafter. Some people are mildly effected by this virus (in fact, a few almost unnoticeably), but others suffer very seriously, in terms of great fatigue, etc. Since there has been much debate in medical literature as to whether chronic fatigue syndrome is a viral disease or not, these observations show how easily a persistent virus can quickly result in permanent chronic fatigue in people, as well as many of the other symptoms characteristic of CFS, therefore supporting the virus theory.
With viruses, one person may catch a particular virus, and experience almost zero symptoms; they may merely become a carrier of that virus. Yet the same virus caught by another person will cause severe chronic fatigue syndrome; in yet another person, the very same virus may instigate a related condition such as fibromyalgia, or diabetes. This is why is is hard to find the actual cause of a disease: a virus can cause many different types of disease, with differing manifestations from person to person.
